Day of Caring

The Coast Fork Willamette Watershed Council assisted Lincoln School in setting up a volunteer site with the US Forest Service at East Regional Park.

In addition, we coordinated with the Cottage Grove Urban Forestry committee in making ‘No Ivy League’ t-shirts which are available for $15. Students from one class took ivy off trees along the Coast Fork Willamette River–thus protecting the trees from one of the biggest threats to survival along its steep banks.
